large binoculars

Recommended Posts

I've owned the TS ones and tried the Celestron ones. There are some superficial differences but they both seemed to perform the same to me.

Both types do need a very stable and tall mount, somewhat more so that 15x70's or 20x80's - the 25x100's are very large indeed !

Personally I think I'd be looking for binoculars with either 45 or 90 degree eyepieces when they get to that size to help with viewing comfort.

These are 22x80"s which I find are great for most things. They will need a mount. It is all about the optics.

The more U pay the better they are. I did think @ the time I was mad paying £275 for a s/hand pair.

Get the best U can afford , U wont regret it in the long run. I would not go below 20x.
