More progress has been made but I need to take more pictures. There is still a bit to do – guttering and a water butt to catch the wet stuff. A decent step is required – the current collection of slabs and bricks in loose formation is near to a death trap.

Another coat of chocolate sauce on all of the exterior woodwork, it’s amazing how many cracks are appearing already, to set it up for the winter.

Last but by no means least the installation of the 12v power supply to both pillars ( should be this weekend ).

Then if we ever get any clear nights both scopes will need polar aligning etc.

So all being well I shall take some final pictures this week and post them next week.

Just 'caught up' with this 'thread' again (been away), and have to say Rob, that is a superb piece of design and construction, I 'take my hat off' to you.
