Nice e-zine! Very interesting and packed full of information. I went to the new shop in Dorking a couple of weeks ago, they're very helpful and have quite a range of 'scopes so it was nice reading your write up on them. :D

Thanks Guys,

It's great to get some feedback. Our members now extend from Poole to South London and down to Newhaven. 80 now...

We are thinking of running a 'roadshow' next year of observing sessions across the region,

and possibly a major star party in central england so it's accessible to everyone.

Anyone up for that? SGL where are you..........?

We are also planning something called 'Project Ten' - 10 towns and cities across Hampshire doing some 'Sidewalk Astronomy', as we are geared up for it, starting next year for IYA2009. I've been interviewed by BBC Sky@Night Mag about it and the Telescope Amnesty in October.

It's in our next issue along with our planned buyers guide. It's taken months to collates and will be rolling it out across three issues, with an imaging one in January.

All linked to relevant sites... didn't know there was so much gear on offer.

We now have 8 telescopes btw, and I'm looking to buy a minibus to move the gear around.

Not bad for a 6 month old group I guess.

Feedback welcome as always.

Dave
