Revelation/Altair Barlows

Anyone know if these are the same?! Apart from the price tag, they look incredibly similar! Anyone have any experience of either?

They are almost certainly the same item, produced by GSO.

I had one under yet another brand name. They are very good value.

Yes, I have the same under the Guan Sheng name (note even GSO, literally spelled out).  It is as good as my TV 2x 1.25" barlow.  It also mates perfectly with the TV Panoptic Barlow Interface if you can find a used one.  With it, you get the equivalent of a 2" 2x Powermate for cheap.  That low profile 2"-1.25" adapter is also awesome.

Yup they are the same my brother bought me the revelation one for £32 three years ago I see it's over doubled in price.
