Adhesive for Correx?

Recommended Posts

I need to build a lightbox for my 40cm scope. Correx seems to be the stuff to make it from, but I'm reading horror stories about gluing it. Anybody found a way of sticking it together without spending more on glue than the panels?

I would suggest  UHU POR its about £4 for a tube, dont confuse this with standard UHU  also GOOP plumbing glue but GLOOP is more expensive. I use POR for building flying wings made from EPP and EPO works a treat

I'd recommend a hot-melt glue gun. The modern ones work so well on plastics that the real problem is getting ant excess glue off! I use a corded/cordless Bostik gun and it's good for many plastics (including polypropylene), and for bonding dissimilar materials.
