Saw reports of 'white aurora' on a Twitter feed this past week - will try to find

Well, a couple of weeks ago I saw a long white vertical band roughly east to south east while observing and couldn't figure out what it was. The aurora usually come out of another place roughly NE where I take pictures from my dock. I see all kinds of things here including zodiacal light.

I'm glad this was brought up as I was very puzzled about what I saw-it was not dim by any means either. I'll be honest- I see all sorts of things I don't report here or report once or twice. The aurora came down into my tree tops one night...it was a sight to behold.
