When I connect my lodestar x2 camera to my laptop and open up the software I get 2 error messages :- could not write sxv10 - try rebooting device and error 6 trying to read sxv10 from usb. Does anyone know what these mean and stop them from popping up again?

Hi Mark,

What flavour of windows are you using ?  Have you tried running the software as 'administrator' ? also, connection problems can be caused by dodgy cables, so try another cable and\or USB port on the PC.

windows 10, saying I have been having having a few problems with this laptop, got some kind of virus or corrupt software slowing it down to the point where I get of the internet (time out error msg) some times I loose connection all together.

Hi Mark,

To find out what is slowing the laptop, right click the taskbar & select the Task Manager. The Process & Performance tabs should at least point you in the right direction of what is using up the resources...

Being Windows 10, it could well be the in-built applications that are causing the issues e.g. Cortana. It may be worth looking for the thread here on Windows 10 what works etc. for some links to disable the apps you don't need\use.
