Wim, that's true, i'll try to stick with the original color balance. 

Tonight was promising to get a few more hours of imaging,  but my power chord got stuck while the mount was slewing and ripped the power plug out of it.

Got the psu fixed and got a few more hours of imaging last night.  Skies were great. 

This is 160 x 2 min iso 800 lights with 100 bias frames.  I used layer masks to try to keep the core under control and not over stretch too. 

I can upload the fits file again if anyone is interested to process it.

Back again,

this will be my last stack of ngc 3372 ( for the moment) as i plan to move to another target, maybe m83 when the skies clear.

this is 7 hours and 27 minutes of 120s subs iso 800, 23 darks and 100 bias.

I'm very happy with the final result.
