February 14, 2017: Quick WL view

I am currently at home with sinusitis, but still found the energy for a quick look at the sun in WL. I set up the 80mm APM with Lunt herschel wedge and Baader Ca-K filter. Seeing was just horrible, but I could still make out AR 2635. Nothing else of note going on, and given bad seeing and generally feeling very tired I decided against any imaging (despite the lovely sunshine).

great report Michael, hope you feel better soon, nothing here today, its like venus without the acid outside , might get a chance with the moon later but I think the forcast is having a laugh with the state of the sky.  charl.
