Baaded MPCC mkIII - very quick test

Here are two pics taken within moments of each other, one with the Baader MPCC -iii coma corrector, one with no coma corrector.  I used my 150PDS and the pics are the extreme corners of an APS-C frame.  the framing is slightly different due to a nudge on the scope.  slight exposure difference caused by clouds rolling in (AGAIN!!!) which put a sudden end to the test.

 

I'm happy enough!  I'm particularly please at how some almost invisible stars suddenly pop out of the pic.  Now, if only the clouds would finally clear (my forecast app is currently showing another 10 days of gloom...)

You might be lucky tomorrow night, I've got clear sky forecast from 8pm onwards - but whether that actually happens is another thing!
