NGC 2841 is a very delicate, inclined spiral galaxy with tightly wound arms. It is a type Sb spiral with a bright halo containing a bright nucleus embedded in an elongated core. The halo fades sharply on the northeast, the result of a dust lane on that side of the galaxy.
