Heheh, I suppose they can be images if someone says they are. Kodak users like myself might hang them in the Tate Modern and call them Speaking on Facebook.

Well, the name "two dimensional, visual representation of a sensor's dark current distribution" is too long anyway. Might as well keep calling it "image".
