Iphone widefield. Aldebaran, VdB reflection nebula area.

7 photos taken with an iphone 4s then manually stacked in Gimp.

Using VSCO camera app and remote shutter cable, quite happy with the result..no extra lens or telescope used.

...not sure if called the nebula correctly, looks like a star cluster to me

Yes it seems so..thanks for the heads up, I found the general area in stellarium and when I clicked on the cluster it said "VdB reflection nebula". I'm not that familiar with the night sky.

I had another attempt processing the image and reduced the noise but lost a little starlight.
