Altair Astro Mini-Az A.K.A. TS AZT6-GR Travel Mount

Has anyone had a chance to try this mount out at all?

 

I was wondering if it works like the Giro type mounts, where balancing the scope is essential for it to work well or if it works more like a disk mount and with the tension adjusted, stays where you point it with smooth tracking motions.

It looks like a neat mount but I can find no reviews of it anywhere.
