Should i buy it ?

Just found a  Orion SkyQuest XT8 Telescope  at a real fair price  anybody give me the heads up on the scope ?

I have one and it's an overall excellent telescope. The "push to", if it has it, is a really good feature. Well worth buying at the right price, I think I paid £350 for mine in mint condition some years ago.

it has the mount seller is wanting 150 but it is the first gen

I've taken the encoders off mine and fitted them to my 20" , the 8" is still a good telescope without them and well worth £150 if in good condition.
