JUST SETING UP PHD 2

Hi All    Set every thing up as it shows in Using PHD2 Guiding all connected OK but to cloudy to try guiding, I set Aux Mount to none but Using PHD2 as Astro Physics GTO V2 Mount (ASCOM) in do I need to put this in, it sesames to be a telescope control program I don't want it running my scope, it has taken a long time to get it to GOTO as good as it is now  it puts what I wont nearly in centre.

Hi Peter,

PHD2 does indeed drive the mount, but only to keep the viewed object centred, and is used mainly by people who wish to take long exposure photographs, where any apparent movement of the target will ruin the captured image.

If you are only viewing, then there probably isn't any need for PHD2.
