guiding scope

Recommended Posts

So I got hold of a celestron 90 refractor from ebay for £10. Don't ask why but it was only a couple miles away and no one else had bid on it..I must stop looking.

I was thinking of using it for a guide scope but as I only have an eq5 pro mount I think with the c6-n scope I will be pushing the weight limits for imaging.

So I guess I could cut down the scope and save on weight but guess this depends on the amount of room I have for focusing????

Fairly sure that it will not be up for doing much more than guiding.

cheers

Spill.

Cheers Billy that is where I was going. I may actually try it properly with my dslr just to see how it performs.....if not I will have to think of another use for it...spud gun, rounders bat, something to keep the kids in line with..
