Can't fight the Moonlight?

LeAnn Rimes was it?  Prepared for a wide-field session, but my pre-midnight
shots were being wiped out by the Moon. Eventually, I faced the inevitable:



So, First Moon with setup! - Canon f/4 70-200mm + EOS 100D f/8 @ 1/500s
Found the manual focusing rather challenging (I suspect it's not too good)
But have one or two ideas re. that one. Or maybe stick to using this setup
for LARGE Open Clusters, where I can use a Bahtinov Mask etc.

On a positive note, I sense that having more than (my usual!) 8-bits to play
with could tempt me to more Lunar imaging? One to ponder / test maybe...
