Anubis
My first shot of Jupiter. Taken with an ETX80 and Nikon D70s directly connected (i.e. scope as prime lens, no eyepiece or focal reducer)No surface detail, but at least a record of the position of the four larger moons. Anubis
Cheers Gaz! I think that will be as good as it gets for planetary imaging with my current set up to be honest... but I'm open to advice.

Tim
Great! Did you take any shorter exposures by any chance? I have found that even ones where you can hardly see the planet, with processing can reveal surprising details. Post 'em up if you have 'em!!CheersTJ
barkis
I like that shot very much, it clearly shows the G moons, and subsequent images over a period of time is a great educational tool. Well done. Ron.

I do have some shorter exposures but they are badly affected by glare from a street light.
