HI.

Is there any way i can find an object in CDC by inputting R/A and DEC co-ordinates.

If you mean "can I get my mount to GOTO a nominated RA/Dec using CdC" then the answer is yes - when using the EQmod driver.

Right click in the display screen until the small GOTO screen comes up - enter your required RA/Dec and press GOTO

If you mean "can I get CdC to display what is at RA/Dec" then maybe....

The small blue magnifier icon up the top next to the Binos will allow you to centre the CdC display at RA/Dec BUT if the object you're looking for is not in one of the installed catalogues nothing will show up.

Your first option should enable me to do it,but new to EQMOD,which screen do I use and where.

One way in CdC is to insert an object into the catalog. Go to Setup > Catalog... > User defined objects. A bit fiddly though.

Mick,

On the EQMod control screen, the top section which displays the RA/ Dec etc. Right click within this section changes the display and a GOTO screen will appear.
