Baader Astro Solar - holes into the film

Your final option is not a valid option. Never, ever, ever rely on an eyepiece filter - it is simply not what they are designed for. 

Is there an Astro shop close to you? If so you should go there and ask to look through a new sheet of Baader film. If you see pinholes your caution is merited. If not, buy the sheet and replace your filter.
