Last night May 28th Mars was visible in a twilight sky. The seeing wasn't great after an unusually warm day but detail revealed itself over a few minutes of observation. All observations were made using the same 4" refractor from the same observing site.

What an absolutely stunning series of drawings in this and your other recent posts. Really useful to those of us with less experience and also beautiful to look at in their own right. Thanks for taking the time to post all of your recent Mars sketches and notes. Keep up the good work!

Thankyou Paul for your kind comments. I'm glad you like the sketches and find them encouraging and useful.
