I spotted the moon out whilst I walked the kids to school. Of course the clouds had moved in by the time I got back and could get at the camera. A little patience and stepping away from work from time to time and I caught it. 450d with the new lens.

Thanks guys. the new lens appeared yesterday as if by magic (cough cough). EF-S 55-250 IS lens. Bit placky, but not *TOO* expensive and gives me more reach than the Z2 had. Not got a remote release yet, but I've found one I think I'm gonna get, timer and all. Spare battery hasn't arrived yet nor has the memory card, but again, both found cheap The new lens I got with a UV filter for the objective. As for the bag, the jury is still out, but it's gonna happen need something to keep it all in.
