canon 550D - Movie Crop

Hi,

I've just started to get some video using my 550D in Movie Crop mode.

The canon stores these images on the SD card as MOV files.  I have downloaded the files to my computer but before I run them through PIPP, Registax etc do I need to convert the MOV files into AVI files or will these programmes recognise the MOV format.

If I do need to convert the files what software is recommended.

Registax needs AVI format for it work and PIPP will convert it for you.
