Large arcing prom today, didn't last.

Lovely clear blue sky this morning so decided to have a quick look at the sun, there was a nice bright prominence but it disappeared within 10 minutes

Still, you had a nice view for 10 minutes. I looked at the sun for a shorter period this morning before work.

If I weren't an astronomer, I might have liked the snow picture.

We have had bright sunshine, clouds, rain, sleet, hail and snow. Typical Scottisg Spring.

Good point, Lowjiber. We tend to get hung up on the weather around us without thinking about how beautiful and unusual it can be for others.

For the record, I was lucky enough to get a few minutes this morning looking at that prom. And, man, you got it nailed with that image! A cracker.
