Cant seem to find a new free key for K3ccd Tools, the one on the web site is up to 15th June.

It can take a wee while for the free key to be put up after the old one has expired. My suggestion would be if you use that app a lot then buy the full version, it's pretty cheap for what it is.

Good Idea, Its just that I seldom use it so free is good for me.

Registax is planetary stacking s/w whereas K3 is primarily a capture s/w. Admittedly you can stack with K3, but I for one find registax is more intuitive. For DSO's Deep Sky Stacker is another good free s/w.
