Combatting dew?

Recommended Posts

Not on the scope, as the dew heater and tracer battery keep the front end clear, but am finding that the red dot finder is dripping and even the eyepieces are misting up in situ. At Seething I've been able to use a hair drier from one of the electrical pads, but is a temporary reprieve...any great ideas to keep the dew at bay from your eyepieces and finder please?

I've resorted to keeping a lens in the pocket of my jacket, but not that effective; am wondering if there's a solution that doesn't relay on power as at Camp, that will be trickier to access.

Was suggested that using shaving foam to clean the lens of the red dot finder might work at keeping dew at bay.....any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris
