How to extract 12bit from ASI 120MM?

Hi guys,

I bough recently an ASI 120MM and I'm still learning to operate it, question is how do I get the 12bit output for some deep sky stuff? Is it only a matter of saving the frames on a different format under firecapture (BMP or TIFF)?

With my asi224mc its fits or sers for the higher bit output.

So if i just use SER format instead of AVI I get automatically 12bits? I know that AVI only support 8 bits but ser manages to 16 bits I think...?
