ZWO ASI 120MC

will the zwo asi120mc be any good in my celestron evolution 6 if not can you suggest a camera around the same price

Certainly, I took many good images with the ASI120MC with my Celestron C8 + 2x TeleXtender, so the 6" SCTs should be fine with it. I have now replaced it with an ASI224MC, but the ASI120MC is great. It may be better to get the MC-S version (USB 3.0) if your computer supports USB 3.0. That supports higher frame rates at full resolution

would a USB 3 camera work on a USB 2 laptop

Depends on what type of images you want to take.

USB 3 cameras should work on a USB 2 port, but without the benefits of extra speed. The last images I took with the ASI120MC were these:
