M13 & M51 Unguided.

M13=22x60s subs, 20x darks & 20x bias. M51=20x60s subs, 20 darks & 20 bias.

Great images there just look into getting your focus right when imaging as M51 is out of focus a little it looks like.

I agree M51 does indeed look a little out of focus. I'll double and triple check next time I image it. I'll be getting my guide camera soon, so hopefully that will improve things no end.

Loking at the stars id say it was infocus. It looks Iike yoi went a little to far with noise reduction

Very nice work, especially for unguided. galaxies can be difficult to focus on, but don't worry you will get there.

Do you use a Bahtinov Focus Mask to focus

No Ian, I use APT which has a raft of focus aids and thus far seems to have worked pretty well.
