Quick advise please SW N150/750 on NEQ3

Is it too long for that mount to attach a DSLR in the future. 

If I got it for less than £100 though I'm sure it is a good start??

The description is wrong, the telescope is the longer 1200mm PL version. The telescope on that mount will be ok for visual use but it might be a bit of a handful for imaging with a DSLR and might reach focus anyway.
