Canon 1100D and APT histograms

Recommended Posts

I'm told that I should be aiming for a 40% peak on my histogram for my subs (which hopefully will be longer  now that I have the IDAS D1 filter).

Does anyone know if the APT histogram is representative of the 1100D histogram? Now that I have a guided setup I use the laptop for everything, so I'm hoping that I can refer to the APT histogram rather than the camera.

Yes, now I've got the IDAS I'm hoping I'll be able to push if further too. I'll aim at around 50% in APT and see what happens. And Pix seems to be very good at removing light pollution, so presumably it must be OK if there is a little bit of pollution in the subs.
