Can somebody help me identify this object?

Recommended Posts

I'm into deep sky image capture & last night I was photographing IC443 the Jelly fish nebula using a Celestron RASA.

I noticed that when I stacked the 26 5 minute subs that the master stacked frame showed an elongated streak.

I examined each of the subs & they showed a moving point of light. I think I have captured a bright asteroid or similar object moving among the back ground stars.

Can somebody help me identify the object if known. I know very little about identifying potential asteroids. I can plate solve the position to give an idea of the location for last night so this might help.

I made a movie of the moving object & here is an image of the motion over a period of a couple of hours.

The still frame sub is below:

The movie I made giving the start & finish time is below:

Time is 22:04-00:23 20th December-21st December

Let me know if you can help.
