Dehumidifer choice

Maplin have what looks like the same model with different branding for £140 http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/8-l-desiccant-dehumidifierlaundry-dryer-with-2-l-tank-and-ioniser-a76rg

Has anyone got the Maplin version and is it the same as the ELA DD822?

It does look remarkably similar...

I have 2 of the DD822's ... for "longevity" of the desiccant disc  It's important that you power them down properly rather than just switch them off at the mains...

All I can say is the after sales service from DIO is superb...

I used to keep a greenhouse frost heater in the obs as well to keep the temp above freezing to keep the dehumidifier happy... also watch if you go for the continuous drain facility that the pipe doesn't freeze up... If it does the water will backup into the tank and the dehumidifier switch off when it's full...

Thanks Psychobilly and r3i.   I think I'll go for the white version for £159 from DIO.
