Same eyepieces??

Hello and welcome to the forum :smiley:

These 30mm 80 degree eyepieces have been marketed under lots of different brandings. It's a chinese copy of a Japanese design that was around in the 1990's. They work quite well in slow scopes but show plenty of edge distortions at F/6, F/5 etc.

I think the Maxvision 68 and 82 degree eyepieces are pretty good for their price. The Baader Aspheric is nicely made but can't really handle an F/5 focal ratio. Likewise the William Optics SWAN's. The Meade 5000's are the same as the Maxvision's except that the Maxision's are usually quite a lot less expensive though.

I've tried to stay with what might be within your budget here. There are other more expensive options of course - there always are !
