Sundogs Halos and arcs

I went for a bike ride this afternoon and spotted a very bright sundog. It's twin was also present and very bright and both dogs have a parhelic arc streaming from them.

The main 22 degree circle was complete and topped off with an upper tangent arc which showed lots of colour too.

The show stopper though was an amazing colourful circumzenithal arc that just took your breath away.

The whole display lasted for at least 30 mins, all in all a real treat :-)

Nice catch, like the composition with the silhouette in the middle. I saw a pair of sundogs for the first time today, but unfortunately didn't have my camera with me.
