This is a quick process without the darks and lights - I think i'll sleep for a bit before processing the rest. 

Nice to have them all in the same frame! Really happy i got a hint of the horsehead too

Also, going through the RAW files i seem to have a streak in the top right hand side of the second photo attached - am i correct in assuming i've been photobombed by an Orionid?

That streak is man made, a satellite. I think there is lot of dark signal in your images, try to dig that visible

Here's the second version with 25 x flats. I'm honestly not sure how to process this, trying hard to bring out the horsehead but can't figure out how to bring the red out without giving the whole image a red tinge. I think this one might be over-processed, looks great on my phone however!

Here's a more boosted version. I noticed that your lights had some displacement between frames. However you can improve the stack with proper dithering. It would also remove the walking noise and reduce the noise overall
