Hello i set up the ZS66 on the CG-4 last night with a 20mm swan eyepiece with the hope of seeing a few clusters seeing was still poor due to the haze that has been hanging over us for the last few days, a quick swing round to Saturn to set the finder and we are off.

First stop was Hercules for M13 thought i would start on a easy target there it was a tiny fuzz then swing over to M92 another tiny fuzz not as bright as M13 but there so pleaseds with the first targets crossed off a move to another part of the sky Coma Berenices to hunt down M53 i found this difficult but im sure i found it in the end not as bright as the first two then it was up to M3 well i failed to find this so another target was sought.

Ok bit of a strange way around the sky but wanted to get used to the EQ mount so over to Cygnus for the open cluster M29 and that was found with no trouble but not very stunning then over to M56 failed again and that concludes my cluster hunt not bad considering the lp etc.

Mick.
