Try stacking all of the Avi see if that improves the image, always tonight for another go.

I had a bit of a problem. I took 3500 frames each time but registax would on accept 2000. If I tried more it stopped aligning with an error message. I therefore split the 3500 avis into 2 and then stacked the two resulting Tiffs. I don't know if this is he correct way to do it.

Try and keep your Avi’s to just below 1GB as registax wont accept Avi’s above that.

Just shoot off several Avi’s of about 2000 frames and when you choose the Avi to load hold down CTRL key and choose a couple that way you can load up to 10000 frames into registax.

Ps you will have to go out imaging tonight now lol

and bring the gain up a little more.
