It had better stay clear!

Replaced the SCT with the Altair 102 and Canon 60D today in the hope that I'll get a few hours under a clear sky tonight. This will be the first imaging run following the summer break for me at 54' N. Thought I would go for part of NGC7000. Any hints and tips from you stalwarts out there? I will do a drift align I think since its been a while...

Well isn't that just typical! Completed the drift alignment then the fog rolled in. I got one sub of the 'Wall'. No doubt we'll get clear nights when the Moon returns. To cap it all the Sun is blazing today but I haven't got time to dismantle the imaging rig and put the Lunt out. I need another obsy!
