Late night low down proms - PST80

Got home at 7:30 this evening, imaged this at ten to 8.. Sun very low.

Not ideal, but nice to see the proms today

PST80 at F30, DMK21AU04.AS at 2 fps for the proms (very low!), and 15FPS for the surface (very difficult with the Sun this low)

And a very subtle hint of 3D in this process

Great picture Nick. I was Sun watching myself on Wednesday afternoon and visually witnessed a very similar 3D effect near the limb. It makes for a very interesting experience when you can see the plasma being routed along the magnetic field lines. I checked the Big Bear Observatory website after my last session and their magnetogram showed a lot of activity just where I had been viewing.

Keep up the good work, I certainly enjoy viewing your images.
