Possible Perseids – is it a bird, is it a plane, or could it just be a meteor

I had a really enjoyable evening/morning up on Dartmoor shoot wide-angle astro. Of the many shots, I have 2 possible and 2 which I think are satellite glints?

I think at least one of these may be a meteor…

Second pair, not so sure of these, but I don't think they are aircraft - I will post some of the other shots, when I recover from the 5 o'clock finish

None of them are Perseid I'm afraid. Whether any are meteors is difficult to tell to be honest, especially without seeing the trails at a higher resolution. The lack of colour in the streaks leans me towards thinking that they are satellites.

I don't think they are meteors and certainly not Perseids. Perhaps satellites. However they are very nice photos. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comments, I will try to produce a couple of high res extracts - they are all 30" exposures shot at 8mm, ISO 12,800 - so they will be a bit grainy with trails on the smaller size due to the focal length

Ok I promised a couple more from Friday's shoot, I think I have shrunk the above ones a bit too much, hopefully these will be a bit bigger...

First  of Kennick Reservoir, which with it's neighbouring Tottiford and Trenchford Reservoir are close to Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead.  Shots on the 8-15mm fisheye at 15mm

Leaving the lakes I found this site, I thought the logs added to the image

Then onto Bone Hill, a great site for bouldering - a nice waxing gibbous moon rose to the NE to shine a nice light on the granite

finally dropped down to Widecombe-in-the-Moor - did not see Uncle Tom Cobly, but the clouds did clear giving a really nice view of the church -  Then home for 5:00
