celestron c9.25 cleaning

Recommended Posts

How to get inside without damage, im not going to attempt without the wise words of you lot.I need to open up my scope to do a spot of cleaning or should i say retrieving. My son thought it be a good idea to take off the caps and insert a bouncy ball, not seen it for myself yet, just had a call off the wife to tell me the news. Must try not to laugh when i tell him not to do it again

if it is stuck (hopefully) in the actual tube inside the telescope then a pair of needle nosed pliers should pull it out.

if bouncing around inside the OTA then the only option is to remove the corrector marking it so it goes back on in the same place.
