9th June: H-a & WL Sketch and Report

There were a number active regions scattered across the disk today day and I was able to pull out both the white light and h-alpha rigs for comparison.

In the photosphere the chain of sun spots continued to dominate the disc, although not all of them were housed within penumbra. In the chromosphere quite a bit of disc detail was discernable with several active regions brightened by plage, sunspots and prominences. Of note was the filament at about 3 o'clock which was clearly feeding into the surge there abouts.

That's what I call a sketch Rob.  The more I viewed yesterday (in Ha) the more spots revealed themselves.  You have captured them very well.
