Splitting Double Double Lyrae

That's pretty much my findings, Piero for the TV 76 f6: cracking pair of doubles with the 6mm or 5mm Orthos.

I do this routinely with X8 and the finderscope, oh dear my nose is growing again.

With the APO 115mm I can do it easily at 67-73 (depends on eyepiece 11mm or 12mm) and see a clear split without question on nights of stable seeing below this for me is just a suggestion that it is a double and I can't actually see a gap though I have tried many times.

After reading all these posts, it seems to me that for splitting this double pair a lot has to do with the seeing!

This is a really interesting hobby! Depending on seeing and transparency, there is always a surprise!
