Nebulosity removal

If I wanted to add RGB stars onto a Mono grey scale Ha Image how wouId go about doing it?

Just thinking off the top of my head..... Could you not put the rgb layer on the top and then blend mode colour? That would only allow the colour through wouldn't it?

ill get the data and try that, my only concern would be the colour that is picked up in the nebulosity via rgb?

if its clear tonight ill grab the rgb of my last pelican and have a play.

I dont want to add Ha to the Red as im looking to do somethign a bit different is all.
