There's a few of us from Spain on this forum. Probably the majority are expats from around the place.

Just enjoy Spain then. Spain is an amazing place for Astronomy, mainly the south of Spain at altitude, and Canary Islands. Don't worry, Valencia is also good, and you will enjoy much more clear nights than in UK for sure.

I've been out here for 5 years....this year has been awful for astro.
