[Mak One]

Been after a good shot of this one for a while. 

Mak150Pro, ASI120MM & red filter, 1000 frames in SharpCap and Registax 6:

Seeing seemed pretty good tonight and for once had time to get the Mak outside and cooling off for an hour or so first.

Hopefully the first of many satisfying shots from tonight.  I'll post more as I get chance to process them.

Like it....how about spinning it round Anticlockwise....I have found sometimes showing images in different orientations shows more detail....odd but there you go.

Odd indeed.  A perception thing, perhaps - the brain's need to see things "the right way up"?

I did precisely that with the framing on some shots of Mare Humboldtianum so the limb was "horizontal" with Endymion in the foreground.  Haven't got around to processing it yet but will post them up if any good.  First quick run ended up with a bit of "double vision" in the stacked images so I think the Registax settings/frame selections need a bit of tweaking.  The learning curve never slacks off, does it...
