An impromptu Jupiter

My 2 yr old daughter woke at 4.30 this morning with a wet bed - so much for night time dry 'pull up' nappies... anyway after a full bed, nappy and pyjama change she went back to sleep and I took a quick peek out the window.. a completely clear sky with Jupiter blazing away just over the SE of the garden.

I hurriedly got dressed and got the kit out! Only got half an hour outside before the sun came up and washed it all away :( But here is my first efforts at Jupiter with this scope. The last time i saw Jupiter was last year and it was very low in the south west and I had an old Meade etx60, so this is the first time I've actually seen banding/detail on the planet... another magnificent sight, definitely up there with my first view of Saturn in this scope.
