Venus - First attempt

I recently noticed a fair amount of Venus shots popping up around here and they were very beautiful and inspired me to give it a shot aswell :) 

This is my first time shooting + processing Venus so tips and feed back are greatly appreciated , hope you like it.
Shot with 5" reflector , ASI 120 mm , Barlow x2.

Nice, I'm inspired to try venus, I imagined it woudl just be the bright oval you see through the eyepiece, not a lovely blue sphere

Yeh well it's not really supposed to be blue [emoji15]

Very nice. There seems to be a slight atmospheric refraction going on causing a colour fringe. RGB align in Registax can sort that out

I don't think the blueish color is an atmospheric reflection , i actually recently saw a stunning image of Venus taken in UV filter which gave it a blueish color and it appealed to me , i suppose i might have over done it though.

Perhaps this is better ?
